Building Meaningful Lives for Refugees (Invite only)

Today, the cumulative number of people who have been forcibly displaced from their homes is 68 million. Among them, 25.4 million are refugees, over half of whom are under the age of 18. An estimated 10 million are stateless and lack access to basic rights, such as education, healthcare, employment, and freedom of movement. How can stronger policy initiatives support refugees in their host countries as they search for economic opportunity and access to education and healthcare? What is the role of philanthropy and the private sector in serving these populations? And how can the contributions of refugees counter some of the financial burdens placed on host countries struggling with their own population crises?
