Jarvis V. Hollingsworth

Jarvis V. Hollingsworth is vice chairman and chief operating officer of Irradiant Partners LP, an investment advisor that focuses on investments in renewable energy and liquid and private credit. Previously, he served as the secretary/general counsel of Kayne Anderson Capital Advisors, LP and is a former partner of the law firm Bracewell LLP, where he served on the firm’s management committee. Hollingsworth currently serves as a director of Laredo Petroleum, Inc., a diversified energy company, and as lead director of Core Scientific, Inc., the largest blockchain infrastructure, hosting provider, and digital asset miner in North America and as a director. He also currently serves as chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Teacher Retirement System of Texas, a $210 billion pension trust fund for retirees, teachers, and employees of education-related institutions, and as a member of the Board of Directors for Memorial Hermann Health System. Hollingsworth also serves on the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas Financial Sector Advisory and is the chair of the Milken Institute DEI in Asset Management Executive Council. 

He is a former director of Emergent Technologies LP, a FinTech company that provides payment services in emerging markets using a gold-backed digital currency, and is also a former director of Cullen/Frost Bankers Inc., based in San Antonio, Texas. Hollingsworth formerly served as chairman of the Board of Regents of the University of Houston System and is also a former director of the State Bar of Texas. He received a Bachelor of Science from the United States Military Academy at West Point, where he was a four-year letterman on the Army football team, and served for several years on active and reserve duty in the United States Army upon graduation. Hollingsworth received his Juris Doctor from the University of Houston Law Center. He resides in Houston, Texas, with his wife Andrea, and they have three adult children.
