Ron Cao is Founder and Partner of Sky9 Capital, a technology venture capital firm focused on China. Ron has over 18 years of venture capital experience, including 15 years in China. Ron serves on the boards of many of China’s leading technology firms, including eBroker, FangDD, PPDai (NYSE: PPDF), Tujia.com. In addition, Ron helped lead the previous investments in 51VR, Blockchain.info, BTCC, InnoLight (SZSE: 300308), Manbang Group, PinDuoDuo (NASDAQ: PDD), Rong360 (NYSE: JT), Meituan-Dianping (HKSE: 3690), QingCloud, Toutiao, Xinren Doctor, ZhaoYou and others. Ron has been named by Forbes China and CBN weekly over multiple years as one of China’s top venture capitalists. In 2013, Ron was selected by the World Economic Forum as one of its Young Global Leaders. Ron holds M.Eng. and B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
