Jonathan Goldstein

Jonathan is CEO of Cain International, a private investment firm deploying capital across debt and equity strategies in real estate development, special situations and lifestyle & leisure businesses across Europe and the US. The firm has invested over $3 billion across a portfolio, which includes the Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills and the Beverly Hilton; The Stage, a 2.3 acre mixed-use development incorporating Shakespeare’s Curtain Theatre in London; a JV with Galliard Homes with a pipeline of over 6,100 homes across London; and The St. James, a health and wellness business whose inaugural 450,000 sq. ft. complex opened near Washington DC in September 2018. Previously, Jonathan was Head of European Real Estate and Direct Investments at Guggenheim Partners and before that was the Deputy Chief Executive of Heron International. Before joining Heron, Jonathan practiced law at Olswang LLP, becoming a partner at age 28 and the youngest ever chief executive of a City law firm at age 32. Between 2010-2018, Jonathan was a non-executive director at M&C Saatchi plc. He holds a law degree from the University of Manchester and qualified as a Solicitor in 1988.
