Hugh Cameron is chairman of PHD UK, a fast-growing agency network that is part of Omnicom Group Inc. PHD was named the UK's Media Agency of the Year 2016 at the Media Week Awards and as Media Network of the Year 2015 by Campaign magazine. Cameron has positioned PHD as a challenger against the tide of a commoditizing, automating industry, which he believes has been central to its success. Before PHD, Cameron was managing director and strategic partner at the independent advertising agency Duckworth Finn Grubb Waters in the UK, which was sold to Freud communications in 2007. He began his advertising career at J. Walter Thompson. Cameron is an honorary fellow of New College of the Humanities in London and studied history at Christ Church, Oxford.
