Preventing and treating chronic disease is imperative to prevent severe illness from COVID-19 and to improve the health of the 60 percent of Americans living with heart disease, cancer, obesity, and other chronic conditions. Further, the pandemic has highlighted the importance of action on the social determinants of health to achieve health equity. In this discussion panelists will focus on how leaders across sectors are cooperating to address chronic disease and achieve meaningful results.
