As Vice President of BGI Group, Dr. Ning Li is responsible for BGI international development and operation. He is leading the global development on BGI community of precision medicine in BGI, aiming to develop technology platform for supporting data driven research on precision medicine, act as a focal point for data-driven precision medicine research through stimulating cross-disciplinary collaboration, and train and educate the new generation of medical workers on precision medicine. He works to enable the translation of precision medicine innovation by close collaboration, promote precision medicine application to the healthcare system, and to influence policy makers. Dr. Ning Li is also a member of the executive committee of the International Rare Disease Research Consortium (IRDiRC) and Steering Committee of Genome Denmark. He has published a variety of articles in top international academic journals such as Nature Genetics, Journal of Autoimmunity, PNAS, and PLOS Biology as the first author or corresponding author.
