John Studzinski

John Studzinski CBE is vice chairman and a managing director of PIMCO where he serves as a key strategic advisor to many clients around the world. Previously, Mr. Studzinski was a senior managing director at Blackstone and held senior management roles at HSBC and Morgan Stanley. Outside of PIMCO, Mr. Studzinski serves as non-executive director of the United Kingdom's Home Office where he chairs the Audit and Risk Assurance Committee and co-chairs the Business Against Slavery Forum. Mr. Studzinski is a committed philanthropist dedicated to projects that defend human dignity, human rights and cultural memory. He co-founded and chairs the Arise Foundation, which focuses on eradicating modern slavery and human trafficking; he also founded the Genesis Foundation, which nurtures young and emerging artists. Mr. Studzinski currently serves on the boards of The J. Paul Getty Trust and TATE Americas Foundation. In 2008, the Queen's New Year's Honours List named Mr. Studzinski Commander of the British Empire (CBE) for services to the arts and charity.
