Asia Summit 2022 Health and Safety

Asia Summit 2022
Health and Safety

The Milken Institute considers the health and safety of Asia Summit guests as our top priority and are committed to hosting the event safely. To accomplish this goal, we require all participants—speakers, attendees, staff, partners, and volunteers—to adhere to the safety protocols laid out by the Government of Singapore.

Vaccination and Symptoms

All participants—speakers, attendees, staff, vendors, and any other personnel—are required to be fully vaccinated, which includes at least one booster shot following the completion of their initial vaccination series. For booster shot guidelines, please see below.

We request that individuals who fall into any of these categories not come to the Asia Summit:

1.    Individuals who currently or within the past 14 days have experienced symptoms associated with COVID-19, including fever, cough, shortness of breath, and others;

2.    Individuals who may have been exposed to a confirmed or suspected case of COVID-19 or have been diagnosed with COVID-19 and are not yet cleared as non-contagious by a public health authority;

3.    Individuals who are not fully vaccinated by COVID-19, which includes at least one booster shot more than 14 days ago (see below).

The Milken Institute does not provide refunds for the Asia Summit if participants are unable to join the event for any of the reasons listed above.

Guidance and Booster Shots

The completion of at least one COVID-19 booster shot is required, to be completed no later than September 11, 2022.

The Singapore Ministry of Health recommends everyone age 18 years and older receive a COVID-19 booster shot six months after their initial vaccination series for Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna or two months after for Johnson & Johnson.

Travel Advisories

Attendees are responsible for following all public health rules, regulations, and declarations for entry into Singapore as outlined by the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority. Please note that rules, regulations, and declarations may apply to other illness and diseases, not just COVID-19.

Duty to Self-Monitor

We strongly encourage guests to self-monitor their health while attending the Asia Summit at the Four Seasons Hotel and its related off-site events as well as meetings and events not related to the Asia Summit. Please contact us at [email protected] if you experience any COVID-19 symptoms within 48 hours after participating or volunteering in the Asia Summit.

If you feel unwell during the Asia Summit, we request you self-isolate at home or in a hotel room, self-test, and remain isolated if the test is positive or remain away from the event until you feel better if the test is negative out of respect to participants and staff.
