Dana White is the owner of Paralee Boyd Salon, a walk-in only hair salon for women with thick and curly hair. In 2004, Dana moved to New York City and tried to answer a lifelong question: why can’t women with thick & curly hair find a quality, timely, and a customer service focused hair salon? In 2011, Dana left her career and committed to opening Paralee Boyd. The first location of Paralee Boyd opened in November 2012. In December 2017, she opened the second location of Paralee Boyd in Midtown, Detroit. Dana has been recognized by Forbes, MSNBC, Yahoo Finance, and is a regular on the national 21 Hats Podcast. Dana has plans for the national expansion of Paralee Boyd through both retail locations and a product line.
