Chrissi Johnson

Chrissi Johnson is Vice President for Federal Policy and External Affairs at Quicken Loans. In this role, she coordinates the Quicken Loans position on mission-critical federal policy issues, including housing finance reform and barriers to Fintech innovation. In this capacity, Chrissi leads all third-party stakeholder engagement, including trade associations, consumer advocacy and civil rights groups, think tanks, market peers, and financial beat reporters. She also drives the advocacy strategy for these issues, including policymaker messaging, congressional lobbying, and third-party coalitions. Before joining Quicken Loans, Chrissi served as Chief of Staff of the Division of External Affairs at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB). Prior to the CFPB Chrissi was Director of Scheduling for Elizabeth Warren's Senate campaign in Massachusetts, and also worked with Senator Al Franken, the Democratic National Committee, and President Obama's 2008 Presidential campaign in Missouri. Chrissi earned bachelor's degrees in Public Relations and Spanish from University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota, and completed graduate studies in Counseling and Student Development at the University of Iowa in Iowa City, Iowa.
