Lou Maiuri is Chief Operating Officer for State Street Corporation. In this role, he is responsible for our IT, Global Delivery, Charles River Development (CRD), State Street Global Exchange and Global Markets organizations. This includes delivering on the “One State Street” vision in alignment with the AlphaSM vision and strategy, ensuring that the business, operational and supporting technology investments work together to enrich the product portfolio and foster product innovation to meet clients’ needs. IT includes the strategy and execution of State Street’s innovation portfolio to change, run and protect the bank. Global Delivery is comprised of the global operations and infrastructure that support clients in 26 countries and more than 100 markets worldwide. Lou has over 30 years of industry experience in technology and financial servicing. Most recently, he oversaw State Street Global Markets. Prior to that role, he led the Investment Manager Services (IMS) group. Lou has also led Securities Finance, where he was responsible for strategic direction and operations of both the agency and principal lending program. Prior to his time at State Street, Lou was EVP and deputy CEO of asset servicing at BNY Mellon, where he was a member of the Operating Committee. At BNY Mellon, he was also head of the global financial institutions group for asset servicing and oversaw the alternative investment services group, the ETF services group, investment management outsourcing and the asset servicing Latin American business.
