This session will open with a conversation with Phil Murphy, Governor of New Jersey, followed by a panel discussion.
The COVID-19 pandemic has highlighted and intensified health and economic disparities in the United States. Overcoming these will require all sectors to take action to identify and address the gaps in social determinants of health. These steps must include innovative and creative policies and investments in prevention and treatment of diseases that, in turn, contribute to better economic equity.
