Jud Brewer MD PhD is an addiction psychiatrist and neuroscientist. He is an internationally known thought leader in the field of habit change and the science of self-mastery. He is the Director of Research and Innovation at Brown University’s Mindfulness Center and associate professor of psychiatry at the Medical School. He is also the executive medical director of behavioral health at Sharecare Inc. Dr. Brewer has developed clinically proven app-based training to help people with smoking, emotional eating and anxiety (www.drjud.com), and has studied the underlying brain mechanisms. His work has been featured on 60 minutes, at TED.com (4th most viewed talk of 2016 with over 15 Million views), in the New York Times, Time magazine, Forbes, NPR and the BBC among others.
