Thomas Moriarty is Executive Vice President, Chief Policy and External Affairs Officer, and General Counsel for CVS Health, a position he has held since March 2017. In this role, Moriarty leads the company's external affairs programs, including the policy, government and public affairs, corporate communications, and legal and regulatory teams. Moriarty joined CVS Health in 2012 and since that time has held several senior roles, including General Counsel, Chief Strategy Officer, and chairman of Red Oak Sourcing, Inc. the global generics sourcing venture CVS Health formed with Cardinal Health. Prior to CVS Health, Mr. Moriarty most recently served as General Counsel at Celgene, a biopharmaceutical company, where he was responsible for global legal strategy and served on the company's management committee. Moriarty received his law degree from the University of Virginia School of Law and his undergraduate degree from Lafayette College.
