Dennis Walto

A social development leader with expertise in global health, Dennis Walto joined Children's Health Fund in November 2015 bringing with him more than 25 years of senior leadership experience with not-for-profit organizations in the U.S. and around the world. While New York is home, over the past three decades, Dennis has lived and worked in more than 40 US States and twenty countries including Ethiopia, Jordan, Lesotho, Somalia, Sudan, and Yemen. Prior to Children's Health Fund, Dennis held a variety of leadership roles with prestigious global organizations including Save the Children, Population Services International, and the International Medical Corps. In addition, he held key US based leadership positions with Albuquerque Health Care for the Homeless, and the National Health Care for Homeless Council. He is a regular contributor to Huffington Post, The Hill, Modern Healthcare, LinkedIn and other thought leadership platforms. Dennis received his Master of Arts Degree from York St. John University with a thesis on Positive Organizational Development.
