David Trulio is the President & CEO of the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation & Institute, the sole entity created by President Reagan charged with advancing his legacy and principles. Mr. Trulio oversees a globally recognized non-partisan organization based in California, with a leading policy institute in Washington, DC, that delivers distinctive public affairs programming, issue-driven forums, and policy and educational initiatives with national and international impact. Among these are the Reagan National Defense Forum and the Reagan National Economic Forum. Previously, Mr. Trulio was Managing Editor, Head of Strategy & Editorial Operations, at FOX News Digital. Earlier, he had extensive experience as a leader in the U.S. government and defense sector. At the Export-Import Bank of the United States, Mr. Trulio served as SVP for the Program on China and Transformational Exports. Earlier, at the Department of Defense, he was Chief of Staff to the Under Secretary for Policy, where his responsibilities included serving as Executive Director of the Defense Policy Board, and he performed the duties of Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for International Security Affairs. Earlier, Mr. Trulio was a VP at Lockheed Martin International and held several roles at Raytheon. Previously, he held multiple roles at the White House and Pentagon under President George W. Bush.
