Margaret Anderson

Margaret Anderson serves on the FasterCures Advisory Board at the Milken Institute. She is a strategic leader with decades of experience working at the intersection of biomedical research, health care and life sciences, public policy, and nonprofit leadership. She has led organizations and facilitated policies and initiatives that bring together patients, researchers, policymakers, industry, philanthropy, and government to address complex challenges across the medical research and health-care ecosystem. 

Her career includes leadership roles at FasterCures, where she served as executive director; the American Public Health Association; the Society for Women's Health Research; and Deloitte Consulting, where she advised federal health agencies and nonprofits on strategy, organizational transformation, and innovation. 

Anderson founded Golden Road, a leadership advisory practice focused on executive coaching, strategic counsel, and organizational leadership. She also serves as a University of California, Berkeley School of Public Health Impact Fellow and a member of the National Cancer Advisory Board of the National Cancer Institute, continuing to support other mission-driven organizations through board service. She is passionate about helping leaders and organizations navigate change, build effective partnerships, and increase their impact.
