Fabio Fagundes

He leads the firm’s product strategy and innovation agenda, especially the investments done by Blended Finance, DCM & Structured Finance, Equity & Mezzanine, Mobilization & Asset Sharing, and Trade, Commodity & Supply Chain Finance Divisions. He has scaled up IDB Invest’s development impact across 26 countries in Latin America & the Caribbean with more than 50 financial solutions by bringing over 30 years of experience in global financial markets having worked in Brazil, United Kingdom, Spain and in the USA. Prior to IDB Invest, he was the Global Head of Trade Asset Mobilization at Santander Headquarters. Fabio is a dual citizen of Brazil and the United Kingdom and holds an EMBA from TRIUM, an alliance of NYU Stern, LSE and HEC, and an MBA in Finance from IBMEC (Brazilian Institute of Capital Markets).
