Melissa Kwee

Melissa Kwee is a bridge-builder and ecosystem strategist dedicated to catalysing partnerships for the common good. She serves on the board of her family-owned Pontiac Land Group and previously served as CEO of the National Volunteer and Philanthropy Centre (NVPC). At NVPC, she birthed Singapore’s national "City of Good" vision, raising up the Company of Good community and expanding Giving.sg to transform the nation's philanthropic landscape.

A champion for mentorship and social innovation, Melissa co-founded Beautiful People, connecting diverse big and little sisters as a life-long community. She began life in leadership development for girls and has also led anti-sex-trafficking efforts and equipped foreign domestic workers with financial literacy and entrepreneurship skills. Throughout her career, she has spearheaded multi-stakeholder transformations across the arts, youth development, mature workers, criminal justice, and education. An anthropologist by training, Melissa graduated magna cum laude from Harvard College and was awarded a Fulbright Scholarship to Nepal.

She has served as a Visiting Scholar at UC Berkeley and is currently a Justice of the Peace. Driven by a conviction that lifelong friendships form the true purpose of life, Melissa actively connects leaders and entrepreneurs and seeks to translate visionary ideas into redemptive systemic impact.
