Luciana Aparecida da Costa has a bachelor degree in Economics from the Universidade Estadual de Campinas (Unicamp) and a Masters degree in Finance from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV-SP) / University of Chicago (USA). Before joining BNDES, Luciana has worked over 25 years in the Brazilian bank industry, in BankBoston, Citibank, ABN AMRO, Standard Bank and, more recently, in Natixis (Groupe BPCE), where Luciana was the CEO in Brazil.
Since March 2023, Luciana is the Managing Director of Infrastructure, Energy Transition and Climate Change of BNDES.
