Virtual Program | China's Investment Landscape
November 15 at 6:30 pm SGT
Despite an uncertain global investment outlook hinging on how countries might contain and recover from the pandemic, China's vigorous response induced strong economic growth in the first quarter of 2021. China surpassed the US as the largest recipient of foreign direct investment (FDI) in the past year with a 4 percent increase in FDI inflows, compared to an overall 12 percent fall among emerging countries. In this session, panelists will share insights into how investors can navigate China's investment landscape, highlighting opportunities and risks across a range of asset classes. A question for discussion is whether China will continue to be an attractive destination for investments. Also, what investment opportunities does China offer in the post-pandemic world?
