Cara Levy is a senior associate with the Milken Institute Center for Strategic Philanthropy, where she is the program manager of Breakthrough Discoveries for Thriving with Bipolar Disorder (BD2). She seeks to drive research, understanding, collaboration, investment, and improvements in brain health through her work. The BD2 community works to improve scientific understanding, and clinical care, and ultimately help people living with bipolar disorder thrive. Before this, she worked at the Center for the Future of Aging at the Milken Institute from 2018 to 2022. Levy is from Arlington, Virginia, and received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan.
