The amount of health-care dollars going toward the treatment of chronic diseases is increasing at a rate that's unsustainable for the US and global health systems to support. Society's declining health is also having a negative impact on workforce productivity. With a group of leaders who are wrestling with how to pay for all of this, we will explore the impact of increasing rates of obesity, and more broadly, how to reduce the chronic-disease epidemic from a coverage-of-services and treatment standpoint.
