While philanthropy in the broadest sense has been deeply embedded in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) for centuries, the notion of "collaborative philanthropy" is relatively new. Tracking systems, data collection, and scholarly analysis are racing to catch up with the flurry of activity surrounding an emerging marketplace of social impact innovations. Leaders of the region's rapidly evolving philanthropic ecosystem will come together to highlight new ideas, reflect upon lessons already learned, and examine how current challenges may be hindering progress. As a part of the Milken Institute MENA Summit, this session will be hosted at a private residence in Dubai the day before summit programming begins in Abu Dhabi.
