The COVID 19-pandemic had a devastating impact around the world on millions of lives and the economies of nations. Amid the public health toll, the medical research community rallied to the rapid development of vaccines and therapeutics to combat the disease. Unprecedented collaboration led to the speedy production of effective vaccines as well as novel and repurposed medications that have saved countless lives. As we look to the future, what strategies and sustainable partnerships are being built to prepare for the next pandemic?
