Andrea Rossi

Andrea Rossi was appointed Group Chief Executive in October 2022. He has more than 25 years of experience in financial services, in particular within the global asset management and insurance sectors. Andrea was CEO of AXA Investment Managers and a member of the AXA Group Executive Committee for six years. Before that Andrea was CEO of their Italian Insurance business, a position he held for five years. He also held a number of senior roles across AXA's insurance businesses in France, the Mediterranean and Middle East regions. Andrea began his career with GE before moving to AXA in 2001. Before joining M&G, Andrea was a Senior Advisor to the Boston Consulting Group on Insurance and Asset Management within the firm's Financial Institutions practice. He is also a Non-Executive Director of REsustain, a firm he co-founded in April 2021 which developed a platform that reduces carbon intensity in commercial real estate.

Andrea graduated from INSEAD with an MBA in 1994 and holds a MsC in Economics and Commerce from the University of Rome, "La Sapienza".
