Xiaying Zhang

As a director of Alternatives, Private Investments within our APAC Client Group, Xiaying helps lead our engagement with clients, prospects, and consultants on both thematic and product-specific matters across the firm’s private investment strategies. Xiaying was previously head of Singapore and principal within the Client Solutions Group at Hamilton Lane (2016 – 2021), Prior to that, she held various roles at BNP Paribas (2008 – 2016) as an associate director in the Global Markets Institutional Solutions Sales Team, and in the Equity and Commodities Structuring Group. Xiaying received an MS in finance and a BS in finance from San Diego State University. She also holds the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designation. She is a native Mandarin Chinese speaker and fluent in English and Spanish.
