Alejandro "Alec" Oxenford is the Ambassador of Argentina to the United States, as well as a tech entrepreneur, investor, and arts patron. He co-founded DeRemate, OLX, and letgo—innovative online marketplaces that became category leaders in Latin America, Europe, and the U.S., with both OLX and letgo reaching unicorn status. As an investor, he led the IPO of the SPAC Alpha Capital on Nasdaq and has backed early-stage U.S. technology startups through Myelin Venture Capital. He holds degrees from Harvard Business School and the Catholic University of Argentina and began his career at The Boston Consulting Group. He supports Argentine contemporary art through the Oxenford Collection. Oxenford was named to President Javier Milei’s Council of Advisors and has served on several institutional and economic advisory boards, including Endeavor Argentina and the Economic Advisory Council at Torcuato Di Tella University. He brings an entrepreneurial spirit to his diplomatic role.
