Vinicius Lummertz is the Chairman of the Wish Group, which owns several hotels and theme parks across various Brazilian states. He holds a degree in Political Science from the American University of Paris and has completed advanced management courses at Harvard University's Kennedy School and IMD in Lausanne, Switzerland. He also concluded his A-Level studies in Politics, Government, and Economics at D’Overbroeck’s College in Oxford.He was the Minister of Tourism during President Michel Temer's administration, President of Embratur from 2015 to 2018, National Secretary of Tourism Policy at the Ministry of Tourism from September 2012 to May 2015, and he also served as the Technical Director of SEBRAE Nacional, the Brazilian Service of Support for Micro and Small Enterprises, from 1999 to 2002.Originally from the State of Santa Catarina, Mr. Lummertz has held various State secretarial positions, presided over State companies, and led Business Associations. As a writer, he has contributed to numerous newspapers over the years, including the HuffPost from Washington. He has authored books such as "Complexo Brazil, o difícil é fazer" and "Brasil, Potência Mundial do Turismo."
