Jennifer Morris, CEO of The Nature Conservancy, leads a global team of 5,000+ staff in 70+ countries, addressing the climate and biodiversity crises. Inspired to pursue a career in conservation after living and teaching in rural Namibia, she has spent more than 25 years working in collaboration with civil society, industry and governments on innovative finance solutions and science-based conservation centered on communities. Formerly with Conservation International, where she was both COO and President during a period of rapid growth, Ms. Morris is a global leader and champion for nature. In 2023, she was named as one of TIME’s inaugural Climate 100 as well as Fortune Magazine’s 50 over 50 for impact. She serves on a range of global councils including the Climate Advisory Board for Norges Bank Investment Management, Nestlé’s Creating Shared Value Advisory Council and The China Council for International Cooperation on Environment and Development. She also chairs the board of Enduring Earth, an ambitious collaboration that works with all stewards of the environment to accelerate conservation worldwide. Ms. Morris holds degrees from Emory and Columbia University.
