Even before the COVID-19 pandemic, millions of Americans lived on the edge of solvency, sinking under the burden of housing costs, student loans, consumer debt, and other expenses of living. Excessive cost-burden left many without the resources to pay for critical quality of life expenditures, such as healthcare, education, and adequate food. The pandemic has exposed and exacerbated the plight of the financially vulnerable and their struggle simply to "afford life." The panelists will discuss these challenges, their implications, and possible solutions to alleviate financial pressures and help make financial security and empowerment more attainable for all.
This session will incorporate live polling, presented by the Harris Poll. This interactive feature is available for registered participants only.
