This session will open with a conversation with Stephen Hahn, Commissioner, US Food and Drug Administration, followed by a panel discussion.

The current pandemic has increased the challenges faced by patients involved in the healthcare system, highlighting health disparities and preventing those who are free of COVID-19 from feeling safe in seeking care. Technology offers opportunities for patients to connect with the healthcare system in a new way, allowing access to providers through telehealth and providing tools for patients to obtain information and receive necessary medications. This panel will discuss opportunities offered through health innovations to benefit patients, address health inequity, and improve health in the United States.
