Jared Carney founded Lightdale, a global holding and strategic advisory firm, in 2012 with the backing of some of the financial world's luminaries. Lightdale has many investments and joint ventures in dynamic growth regions and industries. Prior to Lightdale, Carney served as Chief Strategy & Marketing Officer at the Milken Institute, working closely with its Chairman, Mike Milken. During his tenure, Carney led the annual Global Conference and was instrumental in increasing the Institute's programmatic and revenue growth. He also served as a senior advisor to Knowledge Universe, the Milken family's private equity vehicle. Carney is Vice-Chairman of McKinley Capital Mgt., a global $5bn AUM multi-asset manager based in Anchorage, AK. He is also Vice-Chairman of Mosaic Real Estate Investors, a rapidly growing, innovative firm active in real estate debt and equity markets led by Ethan Penner. Previous board positions include Microbion Corp., a biotech firm in partnership with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation; Brandenburg Realty, an international property company; Secured Natural Resources, a California based rare earths rights holder. Carney continues to serve as a senior advisor to the Milken Institute and Prostate Cancer Foundation.
