John Huwiler is Global Head of M&A at Jefferies LLC, a position he has held since 2006. He has over 35 years of investment banking experience. Prior to joining Jefferies, Mr Huwiler was a Senior Managing Director at Gleacher Partners. His early career in finance also included Dillon, Read & Co. and Salomon Brothers Inc. He was Chairman of Jefferies' fairness opinion committee from 2006 to 2014 and is a member of the Global Origination Committee. Mr. Huwiler has worked on over $200 billion of m&a transactions across a wide variety of industries across the globe. Mr Huwiler earned an MBA with honors at The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth and a BA from Williams College.
