Mathieu Chabran

Mathieu Chabran is a financial entrepreneur. He is the co-founder of Tikehau Capital, an asset management and investment group with more than €25bn of assets under management and shareholders’ equity of €2.8bn. Tikehau Capital has been listed on Euronext Paris since March 2017 and remains controlled by its managers, alongside leading institutional partners (MACSF, FSP, Groupe Crédit Mutuel Arkéa, Temasek, FFP, Morgan Stanley, Groupe Arnault, etc.). Mathieu co-founded Tikehau Capital in June 2004 with Antoine Flamarion, his former colleague at Merrill Lynch, by collecting an initial capital of €4 million. Initially based in Paris, Mathieu moved to New York in 2018 to support the development of Tikehau Capital’s office in the United States through the opening of a local office. He began his career in 1998 at Merrill Lynch, firstly in Paris within the Principal Investment team and latterly in London in the High Yield Capital Market Department, before joining the Real Estate Debt Market Team at Deutsche Bank, London. Mathieu Chabran holds degrees from the ESCP Business School in Paris and Sciences Po in Aix-en-Provence.
