Mr Hoplamazian has served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Hyatt Hotels Corporation since December 2006. Prior to his present position, Hoplamazian served as president of The Pritzker Organization (TPO), the principal financial and investment adviser for Pritzker family business interests. During his 17-year tenure with TPO, he served as adviser to various Pritzker family-owned companies, including Hyatt Hotels Corporation and its predecessors. In January 2020, Hoplamazian assumed the role of vice chair of the board of Brand USA. Hoplamazian was also named vice chair of the American Hotel and Lodging Association (AH&LA) board of directors in 2020. Hoplamazian is a member of the World Travel & Tourism Council. He is a trustee of the Aspen Institute and a member of the Discovery Class of the Henry Crown Fellowship.
