Kiran Jain

Kiran Jain is the Chief Operating Officer & General Counsel of Neighborly, a venture-backed company connecting communities to capital to build vital infrastructure people rely on to work, live, and play. She is the former Chief Resilience Officer for the City of Oakland. Prior to Neighborly, Kiran was a senior deputy city attorney advising on land use, urban development and municipal governance matters. Kiran has served on several corporate and nonprofit boards, including the Asian Law Caucus, the nation's first legal and civil rights organization serving low-income Asian Pacific American communities. Kiran is also the founding attorney for Kiva, a microfinance platform with a mission to connect people through lending to alleviate poverty.
