Katie Haun is a general partner at Andreessen Horowitz. Previously, she spent a decade as a federal prosecutor focusing on fraud, cyber, and corporate crime alongside the SEC, FBI, and Treasury, created the first cryptocurrency task force, and led investigations into the Mt. Gox hack and corrupt agents on the Silk Road case. While at the Justice Department, Katie also prosecuted RICO murders, organized crime, public corruption, gangs, and money laundering. She held senior policy positions at headquarters in the National Security Division and the Attorney General's office focusing on antitrust, tax, and national security. Katie serves on the boards of Coinbase and HackerOne and invests in tech companies from seed stage to Series E. She has testified before both houses of Congress on technology and regulation and teaches at Stanford Business School. She clerked for U.S. Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy, graduated with honors from Stanford Law School, and is a lifetime member of the Council on Foreign Relations.
