Jim Messina is founder and CEO of The Messina Group, a consulting firm with offices in Washington, D.C., and San Francisco; chairman of Organizing for Action; and co-chairman of Priorities Action USA. The architect of President Obama's 2012 re-election campaign, Messina has also served as chief of staff to several members of Congress. Messina helped run Obama's 2008 campaign before serving as White House deputy chief of staff. Tasked with winning the president a second term, Messina designed and led the data-driven $1.5 billion campaign. British Prime Minister David Cameron retained Messina as a chief advisor to his 2015 re-election campaign. Private-sector clients like Caesars, LanzaTech, Opower and Dish have also hired the firm to implement innovative consumer marketing and communications campaigns.
