Jean Hynes is the health care sector team leader for Wellington Management's investment research. She manages the Vanguard Health Care Fund, three global health care hedge funds, and global health care sector portfolios. Jean has spent a large part of her career specializing in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. She is also one of the firm's three Managing Partners, a group responsible for the governance of the Wellington Management partnership. Additionally, she is the sponsor for the Wellington Women's Business Alliance -- a network focused on developing, advancing, and championing female talent at Wellington and in the broader investment community. Jean joined Wellington Management upon her graduation from Wellesley College, where she was awarded a BA in economics. Additionally, she holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society Boston.
