Erik Schatzker

Erik Schatzker is an editor-at-large with Bloomberg Television who hosts interviews with the biggest newsmakers in global finance, investing and policy-making. He also writes for Bloomberg Businessweek and Bloomberg News and recently broke the story of an FBI investigation into Chinese telecom giant Huawei. As a reporter, editor, manager and anchor, Schatzker has covered many of the most demanding topics in financial markets and the biggest stories on Wall Street. He regularly serves as a moderator at events ranging from the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, to the Milken Global Conference in Los Angeles. At Bloomberg, Schatzker also co-chairs the Bloomberg Invest conference series. Schatzker joined Bloomberg as a reporter in 1998, served as the Toronto bureau chief and ran financial-services coverage in New York before moving to Bloomberg Television in 2007. He began his career with the South Pacific Mail in Santiago, Chile. Schatzker has a bachelor's degree in history from the University of Toronto. He's based in New York City.
