Aron Betru, Managing Director of the Center for Financial Markets at the Milken Institute, with more than 15 years of experience, leads the Institute's Access to Capital, FinTech and other strategic innovative financing initiatives to enhance social impact. Mr. Betru also serves as one of the Institute's lead representatives, and Co-Chairs of the Partnership for Lending in Underserved Markets, an initiative mobilize capital for underserved small businesses. Mr. Betru's prior experience includes international development roles at Financing For Development, UN Foundation, Dalberg Global Development Advisors, and private sector roles at McKinsey & Co. and Goldman Sachs. Mr. Betru is a term member at the Council on Foreign Relations as well as member of Board of Directors for Calvert Impact Capital and FHI Foundation. He holds an MBA from Columbia University, an MA from Johns Hopkins SAIS, and a BA in Economics and International Studies from Northwestern University.
