Anton Levy is a Managing Director and Global Head of General Atlantic’s Technology sector. Anton also serves on the firm’s Management Committee and Investment Committee. Anton currently serves as a Board Member for A Place for Mom, Red Ventures, Squarespace, and Vox Media. He also serves as a Board Observer for Airbnb, and Buzzfeed. Anton has led General Atlantic’s investments in leading Technology companies such as Alibaba, Facebook, Slack and Snapchat. Anton has been named to The Forbes Midas List of top investors in 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019. Before joining General Atlantic in 1998, Anton was an investment banker at Morgan Stanley where he focused on the technology sector. Anton serves as Chairman of Streetwise Partners, and serves as a Trustee for Mount Sinai Hospital System, University of Virginia Endowment, and New York Public Radio. Anton attendedMcIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia, where he received a B.S. in Commerce with a concentration in Finance & Management Information Systems and a minor in Computer Science. He received his M.B.A. from Columbia Business School.
