Ms. Tamar Pashtan is Head of ESG on Vital Capital's Investment Team. Ms. Pashtan brings with her a comprehensive background in environmental consulting, with over 10 years of international experience in disciplines including sustainable urban planning, infrastructure, and standards and regulatory compliance. At Vital Capital she manages the environmental, social (ESG) and impact analysis and critical review in screening potential investments, due diligence evaluations, and liaising with venture promoters, co-investors and professional resources. In addition, she oversees the ongoing ESG and impact monitoring of portfolio companies, guiding and implementing improvement recommendations, and reporting on company ESG and impact performance. Ms. Pashtan holds a B.A. in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and an M.Sc. in Environmental Studies from Tel Aviv University. Her thesis research, awarded funding by the Chief Scientist's Office of the Israeli Ministry of Environment and Israel's largest developer, was published and reported in leading media outlets and publications. Ms. Pashtan is a certified LEED Accredited Professional (U.S. Green Building Council).
