Asif Satchu is the Co-CEO of Valence Media, a diversified and integrated media company with divisions in premium television, wide release film, specialty film, live entertainment, digital media and publishing. Valence's core mission is to offer a unique environment to develop and attract great leaders through collaboration across platforms, professional development and learning, and a focus on building an industry-leading culture of inclusion, diversity and safety. Valence’s companies and brands include MRC, Dick Clark Productions, Billboard, The Hollywood Reporter, Vibe, Spin and StereoGum and minority investments in A24 and Fulwell 73. Prior to Valence, Mr. Satchu co-founded MRC and served as its co-Chairman and co-CEO. Previously, Mr. Satchu built StorageNow, Canada’s third largest self-storage company. He also founded and led SMKT, a billion dollar supply chain management company. Mr. Satchu was an investment professional at hedge fund Tiger Management Company, private equity fund Westbrook Partners, and Morgan Stanley. He is a graduate of McGill University and Harvard Business School.
