Jesse Vaughan is the Co-founder at Landed, a Y Combinator-backed startup that helps educators access homeownership. Recognizing housing as a key challenge for the next generation of teachers, Jesse and his co-founders, Jonathan and Alex, introduced an innovative alternative to traditional home financing. Landed's backers include the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative and Initialized Capital. For his work at Landed, Jesse was recognized in Forbes "30 Under 30" in 2018. Prior to Landed, Jesse worked on over $1B of social impact investments in Myanmar (Burma) where he focused on infrastructure, logistics, and real estate financing. Jesse is a graduate of New York University's College of Arts and Science and was born and raised in Southern California. In his free time, Jesse enjoys cooking, training for triathlons, and backpacking in nature.
