Caryn is the Chairman and CEO of CLEAR. Caryn led the acquisition of CLEAR in 2010 and guided the revitalization and re-launch of the company. With over 3MM members and 1,500 employees, Caryn drives the overall direction and vision for the company.Caryn also oversees (obsesses over) the customer experience, marketing strategy, business development, and people development. Prior to CLEAR, Caryn built a successful career in Asset Management, first at Arnhold and S. Bleichroeder and later Iridian Asset Management. In 2002, Caryn and CLEAR Co-Founder, Ken Cornick, started Arience Capital, a +$1 billion value-oriented asset management firm focused on investing across a broad spectrum of industries including consumer, technology, turnarounds, and aerospace and defense. In 2004, Caryn created The Happy Elephant Foundation which supports education, child wellness, and the New York City community. Caryn is the Chairman of the Board of Trustees for the Ethical Culture Fieldston School in NYC. Caryn received a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Michigan.
