Timothy L. Blevins is Senior Vice-President, Behavioral Health and the leader of the Employer Product Channel. Tim joined Optum in 2016 and is a seasoned product leader with broad employee benefits experience with multi-national Fortune companies, mid-size and small employer groups. Prior to joining Optum Tim held the position of Head of Health System Performance with Blue Cross Blue Shield Rhode Island. Tim has held executive level roles with Cigna Global Health Benefits as Vice-President of Global Health Services and with Aetna, including Head of Aetna's Clinical Product and Integrated Care Services area where he developed their Medical/Psychiatric high risk Care Management Program and Integrated Health Solutions products. Additional roles at Aetna included Mid-Atlantic Area Director of Behavioral Health and EAP Operations and Psychiatric Review Specialist. Tim has an undergraduate degree from Stetson University in DeLand, FL, a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Connecticut and Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Hartford. He is a licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of Connecticut.
