Dr. Qiu is Chief Investment Officer of Wealth Management Service Center，Managing Director of CICC. He joined CICC in October 1999 and has led research projects for CICC's major H-share and A-share IPOs, including PetroChina, Sinopec, Chalco and Baosteel. Since 2004, Dr. Qiu has become head of Research Department at CICC. Dr Qiu served Merrill Lynch Asia Pacific from August 1994 to September 1999. He was Vice President of Research Department, and before that, an analyst covering Chinese consumer goods and heavy industry companies listed in Hong Kong. Dr. Qiu holds a Ph.D degree from McGill University, Canada, and an MBA degree from University of Toronto.
